Smiley Thai To Go started with one person's deep love of food and a drive to do things her own way. Pranida built this place from the ground up — and every dish still shows it.
Raised in a family kitchen
Pranida was born in Thailand and grew up in a family restaurant business, learning to cook from an early age. That upbringing — hands-on, ingredient-first, nothing wasted — is the foundation everything here is built on.
Starting over in America
Pranida arrived in the U.S. in 2003 and started at the bottom — washing dishes, then mastering precision at a country club kitchen. She didn't take shortcuts; she took notes.
Opening in Largo
In 2015, Pranida opened Smiley Thai To Go in Largo, Florida — minority female-owned, made fresh from scratch, every time. Fast and healthy never means cutting corners.
